Schemas are patterns of repeated behaviour in children which they use to explore their world. They are key to their learning and can often be observed running through their play. Understanding and building on children’s schemas can support their development.
This two-hour course covers the importance of schematic play, including for children with SEND, and how it can be enhanced in your early years environment:
