This year’s Conference will focus on:
· Improving children’s outcomes using EEF research evidence around
early communication and literacy, with Julian Grenier CBE
· Opportunities to promote creativity and develop children’s
understanding of the world, with Pete Moorhouse
We are excited and delighted to welcome
Julian Grenier CBE, Education Endowment Foundation
Julian joined the EEF in 2024. Before joining the EEF, Julian was the headteacher of Sheringham Nursery School and Children’s Centre in Newham, East London. During this time, he also led East London Research School. Julian has also been Ofsted's Early Education lead, and Senior Early Years Adviser in Tower Hamlets. He has written several best-selling books about early education and care.
Pete Moorhouse, Early Education Associate
Pete is an early years creative consultant, researcher, author, and artist educator based in the UK. His work in school is centred around nurturing children's creativity and his practice is inspired by Froebelian principles and practice in Reggio Emilia. Pete won the national award from the Creative Learning Guild for his work promoting creativity in education and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
There will also be a Five to Thrive workshop with

Ally from Cherry Trees Nursery School
Each setting/school will be offered two places for the conference.
